New Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet
The new Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet rounds off the new Renault Megane family with this latest edition going on sale in July. The Megane CC has the new frontal styling features, and the same sports bumper that's been used on the Coupe version. However, its most striking feature is the large folding glass roof 10% bigger than that of the previous car. The tinted glass roof windscreen frame gives the appearance of a cabriolet even when the roof is up. At the touch of a button the two-part glass roof lowers in just 21seconds, switching from four-seat saloon to open-air cabriolet.
The new model handles beatifully thanks to a firmer chassis and a new electric power steering system. There has been careful attention to quality, including high-gloss black and satin-effect chrome exterior and even entry-level cars come with 17-inch alloys, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic headlights and wipers, cruise control, a fixed glass wind deflector and fully integrated Tom Tom sat-nav which is very impressive.
The Megane Coupe-Cabriolet is available in three petrol and diesel engines, from the 2.0 16V 140hp petrol engine to the high efficiency diesel options starting with the 1.5DCi 110 offering 130g/km Co2 emissions.
