Fleet News Awards 2010

Fleet News Awards 2010 took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday March 17th with Audi scooping up 2 awards in the best premium car category.

The Audi A3 was names best small premium car of the year and has become the strongest fleet vehicle in its sector with as much practicality as a mainstream hatchback but with the desirability of the Audi brand. During 2009 Audi introduced a range of fuel-saving, CO2-reducing technology across the A3 range, adding to its appeal to a wider audience and offering fleets plenty of choices under the 160g/km threshold.

The Audi A4 takes first place for best large premium car for the second consecutive year. With some of the lowest running cost the A4 has become one of the most desirable cars in its highly competitive sector.

Despite accolades for Audi the top spot for overall company car of the year 2010 went to the Volkswagen Golf also collecting awards in two other categories. With strong residual values and a wide choice of efficient engines leading to low operating costs, build quality and driving enjoyment there is no doubt it earns it's first place.
