Potholes & Road Conditions

Emergency road maintenance funding is required to stop crumbling roads costing more in compensation and accidents. Despite talk of thawing many parts of the UK have continued to experience ice and snowfall and these severe weather conditions have caused extensive damage to Britains roads resulting in potholes and dangerous conditions for drivers.  Water gets in to cracks in the road surface which then freezes expanding the original crack.  The bill for repairing our road network will amount to hundreds of millions of pounds.  Potholes are not just an inconvenience but also damage vehicles affecting tyres, suspension, steering and in the worst cases even causing an accident.  Please think about this when drivinging so that you may stay safe and take care on the roads.
